In the Fall and Winter, Texada is teeming with hunters.  Lots of  Columbia Black Tail Deer, can be found here on the island and since the island does not have any other predators nor bears on the island, Texada Island is one of the best places during the hunting season on the Sunshine Coast or the Lower Mainland.

Every year, The Beach House Texada welcomes groups of hunters who make it a yearly retreat. Hunters love our cozy log cabin after a long day out.
